Academic Curriculum
At ICE Islamia School, students benefit from a broad and balanced academic program that promotes intellectual growth while nurturing their Islamic identity. Subjects offered include Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Visual Arts, French, Health and Physical Education, and Coding and Robotics. Our teaching is inspired by the Ontario Curriculum, and thoughtfully designed to integrate Islamic Values and Perspectives wherever appropriate, helping students make meaningful connections between their faith and learning.

Islamic Curriculum
At ICE Islamia School, we implement the An-Nasihah Islamic Curriculum, a structured and age-appropriate program designed to nurture Islamic knowledge, character, and values in our students. Covering essential subjects such as Fiqh, Aqidah, Akhlaaq, Seerah, and Islamic History, the curriculum engages learners through stories, activities, and reflections that are relevant to their daily lives. It helps students develop a strong Islamic identity while encouraging good manners, respect, and spiritual growth in a way that complements their academic learning.
Islamic Studies
- From elementary grade, children are taught the beliefs and ethics of Islam. They are introduced to the five pillars of Islam bringing up the foundations of Islam.
- They are taught the importance of the five daily prayers stories of the prophet, fasting, pilgrimage, charity, the reading and recitation of the Holy Quran which will teach them from an early age the significance of morality and good character.
Quran
- Students are taught to read and memorize Surahs from the Holy Quran and understand its meanings to help build a relationship with the Quran at an early age.
- Proper recitations and pronunciations of the Surahs influencing with learning the basics of Tajweed.
- Students develop discipline, focus, and strong moral values through regular Quran learning and reflection.
Arabic
- Students learn to communicate in Arabic through listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities.
- The curriculum focuses on building vocabulary, grammar, and language structures.
- Learning Arabic helps students strengthen their understanding of Islamic texts and communication skills
Math
- In the elementary curriculum, it is a mandatory requirement for students to be taught fundamental concepts. such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with numbers.
- Foundations include arithmetic skills, counting place value involving basic problem solving. They also explore geometry, data analysis, measurements, laying the groundwork for future mathematical concepts in later grades
English
- Our English program helps students develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills while building confidence and creativity.
- Various Aspects of language and literacy including correct grammar and punctuation while avoiding spelling and sentence mistakes.
- Students engage in oral presentations, group discussions and activities to build and grow their communication skills.
Robotics
- Our Robotics program introduces students to innovation, coding, engineering, and problem-solving through exciting hands-on learning experiences.
